WE ARE DOWN WITH JAPAN!
The past couple days we have been lucky enough to have crazy-ass-Kazu as our photographer. He is small Japanese dude who is not very strong and gets his snowmobile stuck often, which turns into a good work out for the rest of us. But, he has a huge heart and laughs a lot so that is cool. We went up into the mountains the other day, regardless of the looming clouds in Whistler Valley. Low and behold once we got up to the top of the mountains we were above it all. Here we see crazy-ass-Kazu basking in the unexpected sun. His face was getting redder by the second!
And then we went riding on the mountain the other day. Kazu brought with him the 20 Japanese folks who live with him in a five-bedroom house here in Whistler. They love to shred regardless of the snow conditions (which kind of sucked) and are willing to sacrifice living conditions just to be by the mountains.
The point here, some folks are really dedicated to snowboarding. We did some cool interviews, which are one of the secret weapons on the dvd, so I will not get into that now…
